Tayfun Basmaci

I manage our monthly, quarterly and annual close and prepare financial statements in line with GAAP. I oversee the general ledger and account reconciliations, handle tax returns for several entities, and work with the external auditors. I also mentor and review the work of a Senior Accountant, and I lead projects to improve our accounting processes.

I’ve worked in accounting and finance for more than 20 years. I started at Mount Sinai Health System in New York as a Financial Services Manager, then worked at Global Payments, a public accounting firm and Fox News, where I was a Senior Financial Analyst for the Washington Bureau. I joined Brivo in 2021 and now manage our accounting close. I studied at Baruch College.
