Who am I?

I have spent the last 20 years learning this industry from the ground up, starting with physical locks and hardware, and moving through every operational role until I arrived in technical management. I lead by teaching because I know that a team which understands the "why" behind the system architecture will always outperform one that is simply following a script. I do not believe in hype or shortcuts; I value being precise, keeping things simple, and ensuring everyone on my team has the technical foundation they need to do their best work.

Advice for prospective candidates

The Sales Engineering team is part technical knowledge, part showman, and part salesman. Having a deep knowledge of the industry and the ability to explain concepts in simple terms is a must. Having the ability to not just see cool tech, but also apply it in the real world is also a great strength.
